On November 12, 2016, my team and I organized a volunteer day in support of Companion Animal Rescue Effort (CARE). We spent a Saturday outside of the dental office, cleaning CARE’s adoption space in San Jose, preparing pet supplies for resale and, best of all, spending time with Jiggy, an adorable and adoptable pup under CARE’s loving supervision.
This volunteer activity was especially important to me as it allowed me to honor my sweet dog Gracie, who passed away last year and inspired in me a renewed commitment to my community.
We invite all of our clients to consider getting involved in a cause that has meaning to them this new year. Our practice will continue to support CARE through regular pet supply drives, advertising adoptable pups, sharing foster family opportunities and, of course, volunteering. We invite you to join us in one or more of these activities in the coming year!
